Rob has utilized both Professional Independent Sales Agencies as well as in-house sales capabilities to secure POG/Modular placement in all the major retailers, managing growth of 470% in 2 years.Prior to joining Currie Technologies, which was purchased by Accell Group, prior owner of Alta Cycling, Rob was the Executive Vice President in charge of Sales and Marketing at Centric Media. During Rob’s tenure at Centric Media, he oversaw the launch of this Internet based data storage company and grew sales over 700% within 2 years. Rob secured strategic partnerships with leaders in data collection, and counted on his client list PalmOne, Toshiba, Pioneer, London Fog, Equifax and many other leaders in consumer products.Prior to this stint in the Internet world, Rob held sales management roles within the Brunswick Corporation’s bicycle division from July 1996 through May 1999. He began at Brunswick as Western Regional Sales Manager, and was then promoted to Director of US Sales. While in this role, Rob managed the successful cross-channel strategy that took Brunswick’s newly acquired Mongoose brand of bicycles, into the Multi-unit Sports Specialty and Mass Channels, resulting in sales growth of $180MM in the 1st year.
