Rob’s years in the entertainment industry were spent in the frontline in both the editorial and managerial positions providing innovative solutions for NYC’s top creative talent as his clients. For the past 16 years, he has been focused on creating unique experiences for major brands across all platforms that were meaningful, entertaining, and effective. Rob began his career at Unitel Video, and after 20 years behind the scenes as an editor, he founded his first of many companies, 601 Design, where he continued his successful, creative career in post-production. At the height of the dot-com boom, 601 Design was acquired by iXL, where Rob was the Managing director of the video division of this publicly traded company. He later spun off his extremely successful division to a creative agency that handled production, post-production, graphic design, and interactive media. Creative bubble was later acquired by Definition 6, where Rob ran the Integrated Media division of this international, multi-million dollar agency. While at Definition6, his division worked on incredible brands such as the creation of the original Coke Happiness campaign, HBO’s Game of Thrones & True Blood interactive campaign, El Rey Network’s- Luchayourself.com, Lifetime Unreal, AOR for WeTV Social & Content creation, Fanta, Random House, PBS, and has created content for just about every Cable Channel and Network.

Managing Director/Co-Founder
Creative Bubble grew from 28 to 55 people since spin-off from iXL. The company now has editorial, graphic design, sound mixing & composing, production as well as healthy interactive division that was involved in creating E-learning experiences for many Pharmaceutical companies. Creative Bubble appears less like a traditional Post facility than it did years ago. The company is now creating content, turnkey solution and promo packages that will start to include more interactive for the broadcast world.
Managing Director/Video Division
Rob spent the first 25 years of his career as a creative editor and then transitioned into the role of a creative manager. He started his career at Unitel Video and then co-founded 601 design, a digital postproduction boutique that was sold to iXL in 1998. Rob served as iXL's NYC Managing Director overseeing the company's content creation operations and the development and execution of the company's strategic plan within the Digital Media Solutions division. At the company's height in 1999, which coincided with the height of the dot-com boom, iXL had around 1500 employees, a quarterly revenue of $33 million, and was publicly traded on the Nasdaq exchange, with ticker symbol "IIXL". In November 2001, iXL merged with former competitor Scient, but a smaller division spun off and was rebranded as Creative Bubble.
Co-Founder/Editor
601 Design was co-founded by Rob and John Tierney. This was their entree into entrepreneurship in the post-production facility world. They hit the road running with an Axial edit system which was wired component and a discreet logic flame suite. We migrated away from the norm and frequently teamed up to attack big projects like the MTV VMA's. 601 Design also started to work with new software like Cosa 1.0 which was sold by Adobe and is now an industry staple recognized as After Effects.
Editor
Rob started editing here on 2 inch tape and before computers and cable TV Disruption of our 3 perfectly good network channels. Rob graduated to cutting edge technology of computers and 1 inch tape. Some of the most noteworthy projects Rob has worked on include the launch of MTV, music videos like "Push It" by Salt & Pepa, Beastie boys, The Pogues, George Carlin comedy Specials, Crazy Eddie commercials, Broadway theatrical 1 act plays by the Neederlanders, Jazz specials at the Blue Note, several of MTV's first Rockumentaries, and the first four season of "YO MTV RAPS". Looking back Rob was blessed with being in the right place at the right time and had an effect on Pop Culture!
