Installation, upgrade, provisioning, testing, troubleshoot Ceragon XPandIP, IP20C, Exalt ExtremeAir radio systems. Responsible for commissioning of 650 links in the North-East/Mid-Atlantic region for Unitifiber’s backhaul network. Created equipment BoM’s, interpreted structural/tower mapping, tracked inventory, coordinated with multiple General Contractors to complete engineered links per design specifics within tight timelines. Responsible for as-built’s/redlines on completed construction drawings. Completed closeout packages for leased sites. Created/ran RFC2544/EtherSAM tests for validation of link key performance indicators. Responsible for lab verification of unique radio configurations, and validation/integration of new software loads. Troubleshoot complex radio issues during outages

Microwave backhaul construction Manager responsible for installation, provisioning, testing and turn-up of over 400 microwave backhaul links in support of Verizon Wireless, AT&T and Sprint. Oversaw vendor bid proposals, PO submission/requisitions/invoices, site closeout packages, Structural Analysis documentation, Construction Drawings/schematics/redlines and validation that sites met internal standards via completion of punch list items. Responsible for budgets for equipment procurement and site specific equipment lists. Coordinated procurement of local storage depots in areas of operations for local kitting of site materials.

Installation, test and acceptance and maintenance of Fibertower’s backhaul TDM/SONET/Ethernet network; to include Fujitsu 4300, 4500, Adtran 6100, 2800 ADM’s, Accedian Ethernids and RFC testing Harris 18GHz radios, Ceragon 11GHz to 26GHz radios, NEC 10GHz to 23GHz radios. Responsible for circuit migrations, T1 to OC48 and DWDM troubleshooting. Timescan3000 GPS timing source installation. DC power installation (-48V/+24V). Tower certified.

Coordinated, trained, supervised installation crews within the remediation phase scope of work. Maintained a very aggressive schedule of events to include the remediation of store network facilities, equipment rentals, crew scheduling, floor plan print documentation, for approximately 35 Circuit City stores per week, while keeping overhead costs at a minimum. Coordinated with multiple vendors to ensure accuracy and quality of service commitments were adhered to.

Installation, test and acceptance of France Telecom's 1640 Optical Add/Drop MUX/DEMUX national backbone network consisting of over 350 network elements. Installation of software, provisioning OC48, OC192 circuits, testing circuits for trouble resolution and acceptable Optical Signal to Noise ratios. Calibrated optical amplifiers to ensure that each OC signal was error free on its designated light carrier frequency. Resolved installation issues, to include faulty fibers, amplifiers, Circuit Card Assemblies, power distribution frames.

Vendor level support for installation, test and turn-up of Alcatel 1640OADM DWDM, 1648SM, and 1680 Optical Gateway Manager network elements. Interfaced with multiple IXC's, LEC's to resolve software/hardware fault isolation of Alcatel's diverse litewave product line. Provisioned and tested linear/ring segments to standards using OSA's (Digital Litewave, WG155) Optical Signal Generators (Digital Litewave, TTC, and Anritsu), OTDR's, Power meters, Variable Attenuators and Dispersion Compensation Units. Adjusted optical amplifiers via GUI 1301NMX interface to compensate for span loss characteristics. Optimized individual wavelength OSNR/Power values to meet specifications. Familiar with both terrestrial and submarine (Raman Amplifiers) long haul DWDM characteristics.

Operated and maintained Nortel OC192, OC48, OC12 SONET equipment (linear and ring configurations) utilizing the INM interface in a Network Control Center environment. Troubleshoot hardware and software network reported problems on Lucent AX-4/11 DXC's Alcatel/DSC CS1, CS1L, ECS1 narrowband DXC's, 1630SX, 1631SMC/LMC and 1633 DXC's Tellabs Titan 5500, 530, 531, 532 and 532L narrowband and wideband DXC's. Isolated and repaired Austron 3800 and GPS 2200 timing signal generators to module level. Troubleshoot Dynastar/AI telemetry switches. Troubleshoot subscriber line/trunk reported problems using LERG (Local Exchange Rating Guide), Protocol Analyzers (INET SS7), Remote headset (SAGE 950), and switch interfaces for the Nortel DMS 100 and Siemens EWSD digital switches. Induced software loop backs at CSU’s/DSU’s to determine where initial failures occurred. Familiar with translations tables and TRAVER printouts to include LNP/ILNP and 911 emergency access. Modified provisioning databases to match CPE configurations. Tested lines for proper capacitance/resistance levels to determine if the fault was on the ILEC portion of the "unbundled" network. Interfaced with both the customer and various IXC's and ILEC's to resolve customer issues.
