Foreign deployed as Project Manager, Risk Management Analyst, Mentoring Team Lead at Balad Air Base, Iraq: duties included the direct supervision of a curriculum program architect and two Iraqi Liaison Officers in Master Training Plan development, curriculum design, lesson plan creation and interpreted direct delivery of intelligence and security training to Iraq Air Force and Army Units. In-Theater (Afghanistan) Project Manager responsible for project coordination, system maintenance / upgrades and logistical support for 12 Kestrel Wide Area Persistent Surveillance (WAPS / ISR sensor) sites throughout Area of Operations within Afghanistan. Operations include: Communication and coordination with Executive Management and Engineers from Logos Headquarters, Fairfax, VA; Government and Military liaison for Kestrel site support and operations; IntelDocs (SIPR) manager for Kestrel Intelligence Products and requests for information (RFI); Submission of new Kestrel Site proposals using data mining of perspective Kestrel locations through TIGER, PALINTIR, CIDNE, and CPOF; In country manning coordinator for approximately 45 personnel which includes Site Leads, Field Service Reps, Operators and Logistics personnel. Responsible for coordinating efforts of operations and force for support on Persistent Threat Detection Systems (PTDS) and Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems (PGSS) concurrently throughout theater. Forklift operator for logistics support.

Kestrel Site Lead - Manage and supervise a team of OCONUS Imagery / FMV analysts and Field Service Reps in implementing a Wide Area Persistent Surveillance sensor system on a PGSS aerostat. Sensor data used to solve tactical military and intelligence problems utilizing both real time and forensics techniques. Day to day operations include integration of a complex camera system within the already established framework of a Coalition (UK) and PGSS team supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Areas of operation include IT Network Construction, Organization, and Troubleshooting; System Management and Organization; Fiber Optics integration; Military Operations, Intelligence Analysis, Force Protection, Counter Terrorism. IT / Intelligence Programs Utilized: Linux (Redhat), ArcGIS, CENTRIX, and Windows7. Operational knowledge and use of RAID server configuration; High Antennas for Radio Communications (HARC) system; One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT); Fiber, Optical management, troubleshooting and splicing; Lighter Than Air (LTA) flying systems. Additionally I was the primary US classified information subject matter expert (SME) while co located with the UK Army. I was responsible for ensuring US obtained classified was distributed through proper classified channels and through Foreign Disclosure Officers and higher echelon approval streams to ensure proper markings as well as handling protocols were enforced and followed.Received NATO Medal for support of ISAF (UK Army) unit at a remote location in Afghanistan.

Managed an Emergency Operations Center for Brigade Support Battalion – North (BSB-N), Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Receive, analyze, post, and report essential and critical information to higher, lateral, and subordinated military headquarters in support of ASG-KU. Maintain EOC duty logs of all occurrences; Draft, review and complete CCIRs, SIRs, IRs, and Incident Trackers; Monitor on and off-camp operations to include check point reporting, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosives detection alarms, various security systems and report actions developed from early warning detection systems; Coordinate patrol responses Operate security enhancement and protection equipment; Operate communication systems and exercise command and control of responding units. Conducted Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection assessments and analysis in support of BSB-N at the Udari Army Airfield, Kuwait making recommendations for Physical Security enhancements and improvements. Coordinated and liaised with Post Security elements (Triple Canopy) which included government contacting agencies as well as US Army Military Police Company.

Persistent Surveillance System of Systems PSDS2, Shift Lead / Operator / Military Analyst, Camp Liberty, Iraq, / COB Basrah, FOB Talil, Iraq. Responsible for gathering, analyzing, distributing intelligence, and sensory information to the Division and Brigade staffs using V-2 and PSDS2 workstations. Provided raw and interpreted intelligence products from numerous sensors and systems. This data assisted on ground commanders and decision makers with the most up to date real time imagery and information from integrated ISR platforms.Employed various data collection, dissemination, and presentation software to produce finished intelligence products and reports for subordinate units. Managed a sharepoint mass imagery data base which provided imagery and video to the Distributed Integrated Backbone (DIB, USDoD).Provided technical and tactical assistance to the General Officer staff sections in a forward deployed Combat Information Center supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn in Baghdad, Basrah, and Talil, Iraq.

Provided Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection training, vulnerability and readiness assessments and assistance to five Continental U.S. (CONUS), three Outside Continental U.S. (OCONUS) regions, Commander U.S. Naval Forces South, Second and Sixth Fleets. As Operations Officer, responsible for scheduling and coordination of all missions for five personnel to include their training and travel. Assigned as Defense Travel System (DTS) reviewer and approval authority for STAAT Team. Conducted and or assisted with the preparation of multiple Integrated Vulnerability Assessments (IVA) to include Joint Staff Integrated Vulnerability Assessments (JSIVA) and Chief of Naval Operations Integrated Vulnerability Assessments. The vulnerabilities and concerns identified in the assessments were used through the Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP) to justify funding through funding streams such as the Combating Terrorism Readiness Initiatives Fund (Cbt – RIF). Created, implemented, and tested a Regional Security Force (RSF) for Commander Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE). Provided Flag Level briefings on Anti-Terrorism intelligence analysis which was used by the entire CNRSE and provided a timely intelligence resource to aid in Force Protection planning and decision making. Qualified as Regional Operations Center (ROC) Command Duty Officer (CDO). This position reported and tracked events and incidents to the Commander and made emergency decisions which affected a seven state regions and the Caribbean. Conducted weekly staff level threat briefings from information gathered through multiple intelligence sources. Assisted with budget planning for 5 and 10 year Program Objective Memorandums (POM) submitted to next echelon commander for submission and approval.Lead evaluator and assessor for Exercise Solid Curtain / Citadel Shield 07 at a major joint installation.

Evaluated terrorist threats, providing Anti-terrorism, Force Protection and Physical Security recommendations and assignments in a high terrorist threat environment. Led an undermanned division to achieve outstanding results with Anti-terrorism assessments, risk analysis and consequence management evaluations, utilizing excellent administrative, time management and force multiplier skills. This production received many accolades and praises from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) assessors and inspectors during annual reviews. Safely supervised and conducted over 45 U.S. and coalition ship visits and 80 land based down range missions. Provided leadership in establishing and maintaining all vulnerabilities assessments, negative observations, and concerns recorded during Joint Staff Integrated Vulnerability Assessments (JSIVA), Chief of Naval Operations Integrated Vulnerability Assessments (CNOIVA), Higher Headquarters and / or Self-Assessments Surveys. Worked closely with Commander, USCENTCOM AT Program Director; Director, Camp Lemonier Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP); Director of Public Safety; Commanding Officers, deputy directors and other higher echelon principal staffs, providing continuity on corporate leadership in assessing risk reduction / mitigation strategy for identified vulnerabilities related to the regional mission and AT/FP work requirements. Attend meetings, briefings, conferences, hearings, etc. with officials of other Federal agencies, higher echelons, foreign states, and local authorities, on matters relating to Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection. Chaired and or sat on several boards and committee’s; Threat Working Group (TWG), Anti-terrorism Working Group (ATWG), Physical Security Review Board (PSRB), and the Executive Steering Committee to enhance overall security readiness and preparedness for a myriad of base defenses.

Evaluated, assessed, and supervised security departments for an aircraft carrier, 4 cruisers, a destroyer squadron in all aspects of Anti­terrorism and force protection to include Standard Operating Procedures, Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS)operations, and real world training exercises. Trained,equipped, and prepared an 80 person staff for an extended overseas deployment to a high terrorist threat zone which included weapons Qualifications: Convoy operations and personal security procedures. Prepared security watch standers and force protection training teams of a substandard ship to perform up to graded standards in preparation for an upcoming surge deployment.

Managed and executed all operations in law enforcement, corrections, physical security, anti-terrorism, and force protection duties and functions onboard an amphibious assault ship. Supervised and trained over 1300 personnel in security measures and procedures involved in every facet of Anti-terrorism and Force Protection from weapons qualifications through integrated shipboard, waterfront, and landward security drills. Designed a detailed force protection academy for all security personnel which increased awareness and preparedness for G8 Conference, Fleet Week 2004 in New York City, NY and Fleet Week 2005, Portland, ME. Deployed to Camp Delta, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as Platoon Leader for 150 multi service personnel in support responsible for security and safety of over 600 detained enemy combatants. Initiated the first VBSS team assignment onboard an LHD platform which included recruitment, training, and qualifications. Lead and coordinated security teams during humanitarian assistance operations in support of Joint Task Force Katrina in New Orleans. Coordinated and assisted the U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Louisiana Highway Patrol (LHP), and New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) with Protective Services Detail efforts during three presidential visits which included two extended overnight stays onboard IWO JIMA and numerous tours around a devastated New Orleans, LA. As Gunnery Officer responsibilities included preparation and maintenance of all crew served and small arms weapon systems. Efficiently and effectively managed all shipboard weapons qualifications while creatively analyzing and adjusting to a shrinking Non Combat Expenditure Allowance (NCEA).

Supervised a department of 40 personnel which included both military and civilians to accomplish physical security measures and procedures for a classified secret building. Managed two criminal investigators in the investigation of misdemeanor as well as felony cases along with the liaison of NCIS. In response to the events of 9/11 a Military Police Academy was established at TRIDENT Training Facility and as a certified instructor (Basic Instructor Training; NEC 9502; Master Training Specialist, MTS, certified) instructed the US Navy's newest Law Enforcement professionals. Preparing them for a career in Naval Law Enforcement. Instructed topics in Physical Security, Force Protection, Anti-terrorism, Physical Fitness, Investigations and K9 Operations. Assisted Command Security Manager with the processing of Personnel Security Clearances through interviews and interrogations as well as case management. Conducted physical security self-assessments, evaluations and upgrades. Responsible for key control and locksmith capabilities. Completed upgrades to CCTV and monitoring systems through numerous funding sources. Oversaw and directed the daily performance of 10 – 25 personnel transitioning from a school environment to the fleet. Directed Physical Training activities, Daily workloads and projects. Mentored and guided young sailors in their decision making for future success. Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) Program Manager. Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the EKMS system for a TS classified training building. Earned Master Training Specialist (MTS) Certification.Applied for and selected for commission as a Limited Duty Officer (Security Specialist / 649X).

As Chief Master-at-Arms responsible to maintain good order and discipline for a crew of 220 personnel through scheduled and random inspections, investigations, Military Customs Inspections, a Urinalysis Program, and leadership by example. Assistant Boarding Officer (ABO) for a Visit Board Search and Seizure Team. As ABO: responsible for initiating contact with vessels of interest and coordinating security sweep team one aboard suspect vessels. Additionally performed duties as Legal/Administrative/Navigation/Medical Leading Chief Petty Officer, supervising 26 enlisted personnel in their daily operation.

As a a Military Working Dog (MWD) handler, responsible for conducting narcotics inspections and searches for an overseas security department.Qualified, Command Duty Officer-Commanding Officers direct representative in their absence. Auxiliary Security Force (ASF) trainer/instructor in physical readiness, crowd control, and unarmed self defense.Received a positive evaluation of MWD program and recognized by Chief of Naval Operations Vulnerability Assessment Team as the best small kennel in the European theater.Initiated the first MWD explosive program for NSA LaMaddalena.Elected president of the Northern Sardinia First Class Petty Officers Association which was involved extensively in the local community.

Conducted routine patrol zone activity, traffic control via radar, building clearings and checks, minor incident investigations, and report writing.Performed MWD inspections and searches in support of command mission as well as provided assistance to Florida Highway Patrol and Florida National Guard.Scheduled and instructed law enforcement and general military training for 75 Naval Security Force personnel, 59 Auxiliary Security Force personnel, and 40 Naval Reserve Unit personnel. Awarded Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for assisting a critically injured victim of a serious auto accident.Coordinated and supervised security for North East Florida Special Olympics.
