Reporting into the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Leader and Head of Employee Communications & Engagement, the Program Manager is an integral member of the firm’s EID efforts. The Program Manager partners closely with senior management, various business leaders and other internal stakeholders to help formulate and execute plans to help meet short- and long-term EID objectives. In this role I will assist in the development of strategies, as well as oversee and assist in the management of various programs that promote and advance our EID efforts globally across the firm.

The Andrew Freedman Home is a contemporary cultural space of artists, artisans, and entrepreneurs. Originally starting as an artist collective for Bronx-based artists, the Andrew Freedman Home is now structured as an Artist Residency, Incubator, and Artisan Space. The mission of The Andrew Freedman Home Initiative is to create H.U.Bs globally, which provides innovative solutions and structures towards community development. Utilizing technology, art, entrepreneurship the AFH Initiative intends to reconnect disparate international communities. Exploring emerging and experimental approaches to art creation, AFH has a holistic vision of art that encompasses all media, ritual or contemporary art, and immersive performance; focussing on the philosophy of art for public engagement, activism, and social change. The structure of The AFH Residency is a 12 artists studio program made available to artists from the Bronx and abroad. The time period of the residency is up to two years. Artists receive studio space, sponsorship opportunities, professional career support and development, and the experience of interdisciplinary collaboration. Artists in the AFH Residency are mandated to utilize their skillsets towards community development through educational workshops, mentorships, and supporting AFH EDU platforms.

Words on White is an Art & Social Justice Campaign started July 22nd, 2016 by Zhailon Levingston and Robert L. Newman III. It began as a one night only event at the Kraine Theatre aiming to engage audiences in hard conversations about Police Criminality and Civil Injustice. By resurrecting text from civil rights leaders of the past and engaging the audience with live performance and visual arts; Words on White breaks through the fourth wall into the hearts and minds of the community to heal, engage, and inspire.
