I took a career Hiatus to explore Europe in a self-built campervan. We cruised the beaches from southern Croatia and meandered up through to the Lofoten Islands in Norway. This was a refreshing break that taught me many things about myself in both a personal and professional sense. I recognised that my future career should be hands-on, mentally stimulating and provide me with everyday challenges. My experience comes from professional platforms as well as passions and personal projects. I believe this combination provides me with a well rounded technical mind which can recognise that there is always more to learn and improve on. My most recent experience was within the Water Industry where I engaged with key stakeholders to deliver capital improvements throughout the South of England. I gained exposure and appreciation for the varying elements and complexities required to complete multi-disciplinary projects and thrived off the autonomy given to work to my strengths. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and keeping active with various sports whether in snow or sun.I also use my spare time to be creative and explore new projects. Whether it's repurposing old bikes, upcycling furniture or making improvements and modifications to my campervan or road car. These hobbies reflect my practical abilities and my seemingly unstoppable draw to new challenges. My hobbies have reinforced the way I learn and the way I adapt to challenges put in front of me. They also reflect the way I learn and how I adapt to challenges put in front of me. I am able to communicate in technical situations and work independently but also recognise when other additional experience is required.
