Within the Academy, the newly created NHS Executive Search team destabilised the practise of using external search firms by offering a business partner and consultative approach focussed on an inhouse high-quality talent orientated service Key achievements:• Early joiner to the new Executive Search team – working with colleagues to establish, promote and grow a business model focussed on executive level appointments in the NHS• I created and maintained productive relationships with Chair, CEO, Director and National Director-level leaders• Led multiple executive appointments with high levels of repeat business and client satisfaction• Coaching to director and aspiring director leaders; particularly supporting those with protective characteristics and from diverse backgrounds• Support to aspiring director programmes – career workshops, assessment on and off programmes, facilitating action learning sets• I pioneered working with the Academy’s patient/service-user participation team to bring the patient voice into assessment and appointment processes• I brought a strong focus on improving equality, diversity and inclusion in assessment and appointment processes• Worked with a colleague in the Service to establish, promote and grow a professional “movement” and network focussed on supporting sub-board operational leaders.
