Transitioning to Sky New Zealand as their highly capable and ever reliable Senior leader, I am ultimately accountable for the core technology platforms for Cloud, Infrastructure and Network, and responsible for expertly managing 3 teams and supporting staff of 22 employees consisting of Cloud Team (Team of 5), Infrastructure Team (Team of 6), Network Team (Team of 7) as well as Architects/Principals, Delivery Platform Organisers (Team of 4). I provide vendor management including PaaS, IaaS, Cloud and on-premises and outsourced services, oversee the management of CAPEX and OPEX budgets and I provide engagement management for 3rd parties such as consultants used to deliver initiatives.Key Achievements:• Since Sky moved to a DevOps-type model across technology, was successfully responsible in restructuring delivery teams to take the best from DevOps, Waterfall and Disciplined Agile to shape the way of working – which in turn were modified for each team to best align with Cloud, Infrastructure or Network requirements. • Responsible for the successful migration of ~ 60% of workloads to the Cloud primarily AWS & Private Cloud as well as moving Sky’s identify management to AzureAD, utilising Cloud-first approach where it made sense.• Involved in defining and driving Cloud strategies and remote ways of working for Sky.• Utilised strong communication skills to engage with business units to provide the platform to best enable them.• Successfully changed the culture from finger pointing to collaborative, working together to get things done. • Reduced technical department to decommission and consolidate platforms and review contracts across the platforms.• Formed strong relationships with influential stakeholders such as Head of Security to find the balance between enablement and protecting Sky. • Actively involved in driving platforms for new products such as Sky Broadband and the next generation desktop box in addition to confidential initiatives in the pipeline.

Focusing on providing quality consulting services to deliver complex projects for on premise and cloud based solutions. Secureix Technologies has partner entities in New Zealand, Australia and Singapore to deliver services across APAC.My philosophy for Secureix Technologies is to engage with customers to build a trusting relationship. This is done by delivering on promises, identify gaps and work towards providing value. We aim to integrate with customers IT teams to drive initiatives and fill in the gaps.

Appointed Regional Manager for Citrix Consulting Australia New Zealand, I was responsible for preparing performance and development plans as well as managing a team of 10 including full time employees and partner sub-contractors. By identifying and leading services opportunities for Citrix Consulting aligning with sales strategies and Account managers, I provided expert business development. I ensured high quality service delivery by effectively managing and overseeing on-going services engagement across the territory and overall ownership of the services engagement and delivery. I worked closely with the sales teams to influence product sales and attach services to drive adoption which included Request for Information (RFI’s) and Request for Proposals (RFP’s).Key Achievements:• Successfully restructured the New Zealand consulting practice to leverage both full time resources and partner sub-contractors to meet market demand, to provide a high level of delivery and to ensure the right skill set was available to meet project requirements.• Increased bookings for various regions during this period including New Zealand, Victoria, South Australia, and Queensland by leading service opportunities and working with the sales team.• Developed the Victoria and South Australia region to be able to sustain a full time Consulting Regional Manager to further develop the business.• Successfully increased bookings for the Consulting business in New Zealand by double digits year on year growth over the 3-year period. 21% growth in 2014.• Achieved accurate forecasting within 10% of actuals in addition to setting local rates for New Zealand services defining worst-case, likely, and best-case scenarios• Managed financial bookings for the Consulting Services business in New Zealand and successfully attaining 25 – 35% contribution margin.• Successfully closed RFPs such as University of Adelaide and RMIT enabling 20,000 staff

Joined the Citrix Consulting business as a Senior Consultant delivering small to medium sized projects. Promoted to Principal Consultant and then Architect leading the largest and most strategic Citrix projects. End-to-end delivery of client network solutions including technical and solution architecture, business development, pre-sales and account management. Responsibilities include;- Design and deliver complex Citrix projects across all Citrix technologies - Project plans and reporting schedules - Key milestones - Products include; XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, NetScaler and supporting technologies- Specialising in Integrating Citrix technologies with Microsoft and other vendor technologies- End-to-end management of large complex projects.
