Developed various shell scripts (within and outside of C.I. context) to install software dependencies and configure AWS ParallelCluster to emulate NOAA’s HPC platforms. Ported an extracted kernel from the FV3 Dynamical Core from Fortran to Julia for NOAA’s SENA project. Wrote a performance analysis and gave presentations, evaluating the use of Julia in numerical weather prediction applications.
