I have 5+ years healthcare experience, as well as in the Criminal Justice field. I was given the opportunity to be part of the Police Explorer program while in high school in Spokane, WA. I furthered my CJ career by accepting a position at Martin Hall Juvenile Detention Center in Spokane, then moved to the Seattle area and became a Corrections Officer at Monroe Correctional Complex in 2011. I realized that I had a different calling and desired to work with people on a more direct level with regards to their healthcare and accepted a position with UnitedHealthcare Community Plan in 2015. In the Fall of 2020, I completed my MBA in Healthcare Management where I am confident it will help to leverage my career goals. I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and spent my first five years living in Germany, outside of Ramstein Air Force Base.
