Responsible for management of 100+ staff in software development, project management and quality assurance. Established company policies and guidelines for a young organization of 250 resources. Responsible for department budget of $1.5M and project budgets over $1M. Mentor offshore management team in leadership, project management and working relationships with international counterparts. Assist in IT integration with Safeway's Global Sourcing organization based in Hong Kong.Key Achievements:Increased FTE hrs by 114% year over year.Increased off shore testing by over 100% with flat headcount.Reduced contractor cost up to 35%.Managed the transition of multiple Development Support groups to off-shore model.Worked with international sites in the US, India, Hong Kong and the Philippines.Managed Project Budgets over $1M and established process for offshore project management.
