Senior Journalist and Football Producer for BBC Radio 5 Live. Overseeing live Premier League and Champions League football commentaries on-site in stadiums around the country; reporting on the match and conducting live post-match interviews with players and managers. In recent years I have overseen major event coverage on location and in-studio - these have included Olympic Games, World Cup and European Championship Football, Wimbledon and French Open Tennis. My career began in 2014 when I left the University of Nottingham with a 1st Class undergraduate degree in History and a love of student radio. I began freelancing at BBC Radio Nottingham and eventually moved to BBC Sport in Salford. I worked predominantly as a national and international broadcaster in the sports news department, presenting long and short-form programmes as well as bulletins on Radio 5Live, Radio 2, Radio 4 and the World Service. I also reported live in the television studio for the BBC News Channel and BBC World News. As a studio producer I have produced programmes such as “The Monday Night Club” and "5 Live's Premier League Sunday".Outside the BBC I have worked as a commentator for Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest’s in-house productions, as well as European Football Expert for UEFA.
