SuperFat is a keto snack brand that sells across e-commerce and retail channels. - Growth Marketing: Joined company shortly after their Kickstarter launch and worked with cofounders to grow paid acquisition channels (Facebook, Google, Affiliate/Influencer) for e-commerce store (keto snacks). Followed a creative and audience testing matrix and used data from campaigns to adjust strategy. Produced long form landing pages to increase conversion on cold traffic, leading to a 35% reduction in our CAC. Managed a year-long podcast campaign, advertising on shows including The Tim Ferris Show, Joe Rogan, and thought leaders in the wellness space.- Project Management: Managed 6+ marketing and design contractors to support channel growth. Created a system for gathering free UGC content that we repurposed across our marketing channels. Worked side-by-side with a developer to build and launch a completely custom Shopify store. Since 2014, Just Panela LLC has been working to bring USDA Certified Organic unrefined sugar (‘panela’) to market in the United States in retail, bulk, and foodservice channels. Our mission is for consumers and product manufacturers to replace refined sugar with panela wherever possible in order to achieve healthier, better tasting food. As the demand for healthier, unprocessed ingredients grows, Just Panela is committed to educating consumers on the differences between refined and unrefined sweeteners. We import our panela from Colombia, South America, where our sister company Source South SAS (Medellín, Colombia) manages sourcing, packaging, and exporting of panela to the states. I manage all operations for Source South while supporting sales and business development of Just Panela. Since entering the market in 2015, I've overseen the sales of our retail line into a group of grocery chains including Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, and Raley’s, working with distributors such as UNFI and KeHE. On the foodservice side I've led the charge on selling panela into a number of specialty coffee retailers, bakers, and product manufacturers. Recruited by Atlas Corps to teach English at SENA, Colombia's nationwide government funded technical school for lower income students. Placed in the 'Center for Advanced Technology and Manufacturing', I gave an introductory English course to several groups of students with little to no English language education. Most successful students finished class at a B1 (intermediate) English level.
