Rob Thomas is an Owens Community College Fine and Performing Arts faculty member. He is  the Broadcast Media and Technology lead instructor and advisor of the Owens OutComm Student Media Center.Rob has spent more than 35-years working full-time within the broadcast, marketing, and communications industries with for-profit and not-for-profit businesses such as Clear Channel (now iHeartMedia) and the YMCA of Greater Toledo. His responsibilities in these organizations have included those of copywriter, production director, on-air talent, communications specialist, print layout and designer, videographer, event planner, and communication director.As the lead instructor at Owens Community College for the Broadcast Media Technology program, Rob is a multimedia producer who utilizes his audio, video, and graphic design skills by sharing his experience with the students he instructs, and helping not-for-profit and for-profit businesses thrive, including Car Stereo One, The Toledo Diocese, The Erie Shores Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Jeffrey Mann Fine Jewelers, Stone Oak Business Condominiums, and the Sylvania Northview Wildcat Marching Band.
