I started as kitchen staff, being offered additional responsibilities rapidly such as acting as attendant. I sincerely enjoyed the customer relations, the chances to make a visible difference and value add for customers by offering friendly and smooth services. I was particularly excited about the team spirit and the high quality- and service standard. Recent additional responsibilities were acquisition and after sales. Tasks I picked up with eaggerness and succes.

Given my passion for sports events and Feyenoord I was extremely happy and proud to accept a traineeship for Feyenoord. As a researcher, I took qualitative interviews and compared existing policies regarding resourcing of stewards, in multiple comparable organisations. By combining these results, data analytics, theoretical studies and existing organization structure I concluded recommendations and practical activities. During matches I was extremely happy to coordinate the planning and tasks of stewards. Besides I successfully completed a training to scent danger and to intervene accordingly.

Passion Events is a Barcelona - Spain based tour operator with an important role in the world of sports and incentive travel. They specialized in arranging sports and incentive packages.After accepting and accomplishing my traineeship in Barcelona I was requested to continue my role as salesman, which I gladly accepted for a temporary period. During my traineeship I wrote a Business plan to explore feasibility opening an additional office in the Netherlands. Research was based on SWOT analysis and external benchmarking. Outcome included recommendations and a detailed activity planning. In my role of Salesman I assisted multiple sales activities, such as exploring accommodations (e.g. hotels and sport accomodations), composing customized incentive packages (incl entertainment, flights, accommodation, commuting) to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction. In this role I truly developed my organizational skills, customer relations, international communication and a high service standard. It was exciting and fun to work in a small, strong and empowered team.

Den Bosch

Purpose of the assignment was to organize an “Open house” event from A – Z, including the design and implementation of the program, the sponsoring and the marketing activities. This resulted in a great marketing plan and more importantly in a successful event with a high number of interested visitors.
