After a rewarding 45-year career in the IT industry, principally providing service to others, I have embarked on my next phase, which is to primarily feed my own soul, through a disciplined study of music. After completing my first year of studies, my greatest insight is that I should have embarked on this phase much earlier on my life journey. My strongest hope is that many, many, more people discover this path of fulfillment. My greatest aspiration is that I may be able entertain you some day. Many of the skills and experience I gain in my IT career, still serve me well in my new endeavors; I have a passion for people and technology and specialise in building diverse, high impact teams with purpose, commitment, and resilience. I am a senior business executive with 40+years’ experience in sales, support, and managing partner channel businesses in the IT industry, which included working for periods of time in Europe and in Asia.I can not only create strategic vision, but also to breathe life into it, operationalize it and make it real.My experience includes acting as an organisational change agent to respond to market changes and business demands. I have a particular interest in transforming dysfunctional businesses or organisations and re-energizing them. In recent years, I am particularly proud of building a dynamic, cohesive and entrepreneurial cloud-focussed specialist sales organisation covering the Asia Region, that consistently outperformed sales budget, successfully returning Top Region for Revenue, KPI attainment and YoY Growth measures across multiple consecutive years.I enjoy engaging with senior business leaders and decision makers on the process of dissecting their business challenges with the ultimate outcome being the successful application of technology to resolve their issues.I believe in;VISION & PURPOSE– engaging all stakeholders in them is fundamental to synergy, success, sustainability.
