About Robyn Baker-Wright

My working life to date has had many wonderful highlights, diverse experiences, and the opportunity to work with wonderful people in each role, but as a HR generalist, I am so thrilled to have worked in so many different industries where each role has given me such insights into the different challenges, expectations, demands, and opportunities each workplace offers. I am absolutely passionate about wellbeing health in the workplace and how we can better support our team members to live their best life both at work and when they go home. That they can thrive and experience high levels of engagement in their roles, as well as the benefit of social wellbeing as a member of a strong and supportive community, that being the workplace - where strangers meet, create, innovate and feel a sense of purpose both personally and professionally.

The School has around 240 permanent and part-time staff across two campuses with around 1560 students enrolled. One of the key pillars of the School is the strong boarding community and is argueably one of the largest boys boarding schools in Australia and definitely in Queensland with a roll of 300 students from Year 7 to Year 12. Boarding adds complexity and cultural depth to the School which is already steeped in tradition across 12 strong day and boarding houses - tribes within a TSS tribe. It is truly a privilege to be part of this community and to see the incredible professionalism and dedication of the staff to their craft and disciplines across the school, both teaching and non-teaching and it is an honour to support them in their daily endeavours enriching the lives of the students in their care.
