Provide a professional and customer focused service to all customers and colleagues in correctly interpreting the request, ensuring costs are received in a timely manner.Use schedules of rates or other means to check quotations received from subcontractors/suppliers or the in-house team to ensure value for money and adherence to contractCompile professional quotations based on scopes of works provided that meet the needs of all customers and colleagues and have required levels of detail to allow an informed decision to be made.Provide professional communication, both verbally and written, to customers, contractors and suppliers ensuring a high degree of accuracy at all times in all communications.Liaise and meet with, as necessary, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the specification and quote details are accurate and consistent and that the quote is of the highest accuracy and detail.Undertake all work with due regard to all relevant policies and procedures and whilst liaising with the procurement department.Using schedules of rates, procurement department information and general benchmarking information, challenge and audit costs ensuring that in all cases both the company and the customers are getting best value for money from competent, specialist subcontractors and suppliers.Proactively communicate with customers giving relevant and timely information and requesting feedback and customer survey completion.Proactively review the department’s mailbox picking up all tasks and communication regarding quotes including correspondence from subcontractors and suppliers.Keep spreadsheets up to date to track / review and assign tasks for quotes, ensuring that deadlines are met as well as ensuring the SLA is honoured and that tasks are logged correctly with accuracy.
