As VP, I retained all the same responsibilities I had as Director, while adding responsibility for the web sites' content acquisition and operations functions.

o After acquisition by Cengage Learning, I successfully managed integration with a new head office for all Finance and HR concerns.o Expanded financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes from 2 sites to 7 over 2 year period while reporting revenues grew from $10M to $50M (some through acquisition)o Due diligence for purchase of Questia.com in January 2010. Managed transition of finance, analytics, ad ops and customer service functions to my team in Chicago, replacing 7 roles with 2.o Project Managed the design and build out (with expert help) of new 22,000 ft office space and office move after our head count grew from 34 to 70 over an 18 month period.

o Financial reporting for online content sites, www.highbeam.com (subscription service) and www.encyclopedia.com (ad supported free service) o Revenues grew from $6M to $10M over these four years and Headcount grew from 22 to 34.o Development and analysis of budgets and forecastso Direct reporting relationships from Manager of Advertising Operations, Business Analyst, Payroll and Benefits Administrator, Customer Service Manager.o Ad hoc reporting concerning new business ventures, acquisitions or divestments, as requested by CRO and CEO.o Intimately involved with due diligence and sale of HighBeam to Cengage Learning in December 2008.
