Responsible for the financial analysis of the GM Competitive Assistance Program (CAP). These are contracts written by Fleet Account Executives to General Motors fleet customers. Main responsibility is to ensure that the incentive levels are in line with volume targets and maximize overall vehicle contribution margin.

•Managed key program documents such as gate review presentations, Market Segment Specifications, Common Source Documents, and Product Program Content. Functions included analyzing data to incorporate competitive product plans and strategies, identifying key insights and recommending appropriate actions/recommendations in management summaries as well as having a continual awareness of current and future product development and industry trends.•Developed and launched new 4500 Cutaway Van – opportunity for GM to compete in the Class 4 vehicles segment•Deployed Van Product Evaluation Team, Vehicle Line Executive, Vehicle Line Director and Marketing Director to key vehicle aftermarket manufacturers and two Chicago-area “van-focused” dealerships. Customer focus groups were conducted as well as a dinner between Sears’ Fleet Product Mgr and GM key stakeholders. Also managed the activities of others at various levels of management within GM.•Assumed Assistant Marketing Manager responsibilities in addition to regular area of responsibility (August 2008). These responsibilities included PRM, development of cost comparisons, pricing & incentive package recommendations, analysis of model/option mix, buyer behavior and customer satisfaction as well as management of vehicles in the Commercial Van Team fleet.

•Directed and supervised activities of fifteen to twenty-five staff members within a revenue protection environment, while providing customer service for commercial clients. Additional duties included conducting staff training programs, preparing correspondence on behalf of District and Area Managers and working closely with union steward to improve management/employee relations. •Increased telecommunications sales and provided customer service support to one to eight-line commercial clients encompassing service, installation and technical concerns as well as prepared all written communication for Area and District Manager at SBC•Launched a study to improve SBC's approaches to managing a diverse workforce. Efforts included benchmarking several long-established policies to identify best practices. Resulted in recommendation to senior management on stronger ways to recruit and retain diverse populations.•Recipient of multiple management awards including three time winner of Top Account Inquiry Center Manager's Award encompassing Houston and the South Texas District and United Way Location Leader Recognition Award.
