Additionally, she led Teach For America - Eastern North Carolina as Executive Director during a time of pivotal growth, expanding the organization’s footprint to educate 25,000 students daily with diverse funding that included a 675% increase in recurring public dollars.Her governance roles include serving as a Director at the UN Global Compact's Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative. Previously, she served as Chair of the Board of Global Grassroots, a nonprofit social enterprise working in East Africa to catalyze women and girls as the leaders of Conscious Social Change in their communities through increasing access to clean water, and as a Director at Medical Students for Choice, a U.S.-based nonprofit ensuring that reproductive healthcare, including abortion, is a standard part of medical education and training.
