I was the editor for all news content published in The Reader until its last issue, September 2023. I worked with our team of writers to establish editorial direction and edit their work. Our team created a series of stories for the (DIS)Invested project, in which we analyzed historic inequities in Omaha and how to change them.

I supervised and trained a team of professional and student reporters while transforming a fledgling public radio newsroom into an award-winning department.
