My goal is to provide free support services for individuals who may be facing mental health challenges or difficult life situations. I am responsible for the main organisation and management of Flare, including the preparation of sessions, maintaining confidential details, note-taking, safeguarding, and training. I also run and manage the social media team, organise mentors and schedules, deal with members' complaints and compliments, facilitate mental health sessions, and speak with outside organisations about collaborations.Our services include weekly support group sessions on Thursdays on Discord, "Self-Care Sunday" where members can come together for a voice call and engage in self-care activities and one-on-one support with trained mentors. Through these services, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space for members to come together and work towards improving their mental health and well-being. I'm happy to see that Flare has already gained traction not only through social media but through members who come to Flare for help, support, and community. In addition to our services, Flare is also working on organising webinars on various mental health topics. These webinars serve as an educational tool for individuals who are still interested in learning more about mental health and wellness. By offering these webinars, I hope to increase awareness and understanding of mental health, trauma, and distress and empower individuals to take care of their own mental well-being and understand how to take care of the well-being of their loved ones.
