Hi there...I’m Robyn, a coach and therapist who’s passionate about encouraging and empowering men to do this all-important inner work. Life can be tough, and sometimes it feels like we’re just barely keeping our heads above water, for men this is exasperated by harmful patterns of suffering in silence. If that sounds like you, then you're in the right place.My WhySo, what’s my deal? Well, from a young age, I felt the weight of my Father's emotional turmoil and I witnessed the dysfunction in his relationship with my Mother. As I look back now, it's clear to see why my Father was so conflicted and the impact this had on myself and my brothers. In working through my own generational trauma, I discovered a passion for helping others; I spent time volunteering for Samaritans, where the struggles of men became even more apparent to me; so many men I listened to felt utterly hopeless in their situations. All of this inspired my decision to work with men as a coach and therapist. I'm eager to share everything I have learnt through my own healing journey with men who feel called to do the same.Here’s how I do it:ICF CoachingThrough ICF-style coaching (endorsed by the International Coaching Federation) I actively listen to you, asking powerful questions, and incorporating structured frameworks to help you achieve personal growth specific to you.Root-Cause Therapy (RCT) Through Root-Cause Therapy (by The Centre for Healing) I aim to find and resolve the root cause of your symptoms, whether physical, emotional or behavioural. This approach uses different processes, including NLP, Regression Therapy, Timeline Therapy, Talk Therapy, Inner Child Healing and Somatic Breathwork. Specialising InSpecialising in breaking harmful generational cycles by guiding you through self-awareness and personal growth, I empower clients to create positive change, fostering healthier family dynamics. Why Men Over 40?This time of life can hit men particularly hard, especially if they've been:• suppressing emotion their whole lives• living to please others • working themselves to the bone• seeing the same negative patterns of behaviour in their relationships• leaning on unhealthy coping mechanisms• experiencing outbursts of anger• losing their sense of self• feeling regret from the past and anxiety about the future.
