I have gained extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in the automotive and aerospace sector, with almost 16 years experience across sales and purchasing departments on the international markets. During the frequent work travels in East Asia and Europe I used to visit both current and prospective suppliers’ manufacturing plants with the aim to check the production status for current projects, evaluate their production capability in order to assess the technical and commercial feasibility of new projects and to expand the sales market. The frequent travels also gave me the opportunity to gain experience in multicultural working environments and to strengthen my communication and negotiation skills.
