My duties in my current position are:• Use research and data and apply it to improve the content, sequence, and outcomes of the teaching-learning process for the teachers and students.• Work with teachers, faculty, staff to develop, maintain, and revise curriculum documents based on systematic review and analysis.• Work with teachers in evaluating and selecting teaching materials to meet student learning needs in a weekly basis.• Ensure the use of technology in the teaching-learning space.• Plan the necessary time, resources, and materials to support the completion of educational goals for the students.• Responsible for ordering process.• Team player with positive attitude, sense of humor, energy, and dedication to collaboration.• Work with teachers to make evaluations and collect data in order to make recommendations/modifications to improve and edit curricula on a monthly/annual basis.• Develop curricular goals and outlines for new curriculum.• Identify and lead a team of teachers who will assist in curriculum development.• Identify guest speakers and trainers on topic, and develop activities that will train teachersacademic content and in best practices in education.• Pursue opportunities to learn best practices in teacher professional developmentthrough research, professional development, and other learning opportunities.• Provide in-class support and coaching to teachers using designated curricula, including coaching on teacher strategies, help connecting to outside speakers on resources, and assistance in leading classroom activities and lessons.• Have current knowledge of techniques and procedures used in the design and development of curriculum.• Ability to communicate to faculty, teachers, and parents effectively both oral and written; research, develop, present, and promote projects; work independently; prioritize work and meet deadlines.• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvements.• Provide leadership and to supervise the planning, development and establishment ofnew, modified and/or improved programs.• Mentor and train new teachers, ability to hold high standards while also offeringsupport and maintaining positive relationships.
