 Identified additional social service resources to best serve the client after or during addiction counseling, including healthcare, transportation vouchers, housing, employment, foodbank referrals, AA/NA meetings, and school/alternative programs. Coordinated transportation to important appointments for youth and their families such as court dates, medical/school appointments, and orientations into social service programs. Facilitated a warm handoff to other WRAP service agencies, reducing additional trauma to youth clients suffering from severe addiction or mental health diagnosis. Provided translation services for Spanish-speaking monolingual parents during meetings with probation officers, police officers, and physicians as well as during court hearings. Created an internal test for new employees on Spanish translation, including reading, writing, and verbal as well as evaluating body language and tone.
