I’ve held many roles over my 15-year career tenure, but my greatest joy, passion, and life’s work continues to be blossoming as an entrepreneur and small business owner. I’ve never desired to climb the “corporate ladder” although I am awed and inspired by my network of professionals and friends who thrive in the corporate setting. I wanted to be the one who built the ladder. I’m a builder. In 2018, I began laying the bricks of my first startup company, Rocket Elite Events - an event production agency with the sole aim of providing fun and safe social experiences for Christian millennials. Since its inception, Rocket Elite Events has executed many events that have fostered community, encouraged new friendships, and sparked great collaboration. Event production can be laborious and stressful work. It has undoubtedly refined my organizational and project management skills. Nonetheless, the greatest highlight of every event I’ve produced has been stealing away to the corner of the room and watching the magic happen. It’s a marvelous sight. I’m a Realtor & Real Estate Developer.My love for real estate began as a child, watching my mother and older siblings purchase properties, and provide affordable housing to those who needed it the most. Now, I’m determined to continue their efforts by empowering people of color (specifically millennials) to leverage the wealth building tool that owning real estate provides. I’m a Writer & Published Author. I love to write. I believe it’s something I am not only gifted in but have also been charged and commanded to by God. My writings have earned me rewards and scholarships, so I don’t apologize for loving the art of written communication and storytelling. I’ll sum it up here. There’s no one job title that truly accurately depicts who I am. I’m not just a writer, or just an event producer, or just a real estate salesperson, or just a student….All of these roles have shaped the young relentless professional I am, and history-maker I hope to become.
