In collaboration with SOITEC, development of RF-SOI substrates, known as e-HRSOI (or trap-rich HR-SOI), which targets the integration of transceivers and RF switches onto HR-SOI. Definition of Figures-of-Merit for non-linear substrate properties substrates (currently appearing in all RF-SOI commercial substrates).Responsible of the laser micromachining tool for MEMS patterning, solar cells fabrication, 3D interconnections and packaging, and selective etching and micro –patterning.Scientific advisor of the characterization platform WELCOME at ICTEAM-UCL and of the spin-off INCIZE.

Working towards a PhD in the development of Si-based substrates for RF circuits integration and on wide-band on-wafer characterization of advanced passive and active devices in silicon MOS technology, SOI, mixed-mode integration, substrate crosstalk, and on-wafer temperature characterization. Participate on several European, national and regional research projects, mainly focused on high-speed interconnections for advanced semiconductor nodes (e.g. FP6 European project PULLNANO, FP6), and on photo-induced switches integrated on Si substrates.Representative of ICTEAM-UCL at ENIAC meetings and at European Commission meetings for call for projects.Development of a large-signal high-frequency on-wafer measurement setup for substrate characterization, as well as a substrate parameter extraction tool. The tool and techniques are currently commercially exploited by spin-off incize.
