At Associated Communications I oversee the sales team with training and support on the various systems we offer. I enjoy meeting with prospective clients and seeing their positive reaction when I am able to convey our firm's complete offering package.I am always looking for creative ways to solve the problems that my clients come to me with. I also contribute to the marketing of the company creating multiple brochures, presentations, and a catalog showing our offerings. I often meet with Architectural and Engineering firms, keeping them updated on our line card. I offer consulting services to these firms often assist them quite extensively on the design of the communications, security, and life safety systems for Healthcare facilities they are working on.

Edmonton/Calgary/Vancouver

I see over the day-to-day operational tasks of the Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton branches. I travel between the branches making sure that the Operations Department is running in accordance with company policy and procedure. I am continuously finding and applying ways to better the department and ensure that we have satisfied clients and keeping the employees safe and with a high morale. I am charged with the task to provide the Project Managers, Service Coordinators and Technicians that work under me with mentoring, training, and advice that will ensure the satisfaction of the client and allow the company to continue progressing forward as the leader in the Integration field that it is.

At Firetec I wore many hats. Starting off as a Technician right out of NAIT, I quickly worked my way up to Senior Technician, then to Service Department Manager, then to Technical Department Manager, ending up as Operations Manager. I was also responsible for most of the company's sales. I was able to gain much business through my technical knowledgeable where our clients used me as a trusted adviser, coming to me for advice on all their electronic needs.I enjoyed my time at Firetec, learning many things about the integration business in my time there. I was a partner in the later years of my time there, learning what it was to be an owner and to take full responsibility for the company.

I would coordinate all the of the service and installs of the Intrusion Alarm systems and CCTV systems we would do. At one time I had 10 Technicians that were doing 20 installs a day, along with service to coordinate.
