A contract role within Services Australia’s CRM division, the primary directive of the position is to manage and uplift capability of the CRM utilised by the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA). An established product built on SAP technology layered over legacy systems, the platform requires regular enhancements based on client need, assimilation of older systems, integration with new components in the technology stack and resolution of production issues.Supported by a large team of project officers, analysts, engineers and testers, the role had an additional responsibility of the leading the development and implementation pipeline, optimising the team’s output and release management.

The refinement in purpose was to help deliver better efficiency within Tic:Toc’s Delivery & Technology division, champion the agile mindset, make coaching & mentoring a primary aspect of my role and assist our new CTO with scaling up the size of the team. As Tic:Toc grew, my secondary role as Product Owner was elevated to a leadership position within the Delivery & Technology division, overseeing a team of product owners and scrum masters. Additionally, I helped guide the strategic decisions on scaling up the size of the team and embedding good agile practices.As both Product Manager and Delivery Manger, my role now incorporated product research, ideation, prioritisation, requirement gathering, design, scheduling, development and testing. The latter being a balance of optimal scheduling of resources for maximum efficient delivery while maintaining quality.

As Tic:Toc’s product manager, my primary purpose was to research, define, prioritise and deliver new features and opportunities in Tic:Toc’s Software as a Service (SaaS) product offering. Utilising human centred design principles, I focused an extensive catalogue of ideas the startup had generated from their initial launch, into a solid roadmap aimed at increasing revenue and future growth in the company.Collaborating with our internal customer (Tic:Toc Home Loans) as well as our enterprise sales channel, operations, marketing, data science and the development team, my goal was to create a unique offering in the financial credit market with AI driven components that could be additionally utilised by B2B customers.Core to the product vision was to reduce time, cue the name Tic:Toc. Reduce time for end users to complete lending applications and reduce time for businesses to process them. By developing a range of discreet efficient microservices grouped into lending components, there was the flexibility to create lending platforms using some or all of the components.With the dual role of Product Owner, I was also tasked with helping the development collaborate on the solutions and prioritise the work, focusing on delivering working software to the user.

As part of the Deposit Product team for Macquarie Bank, I oversaw & managed a range of deposit products including transaction, saving and regulated trusts accounts for business banking clients with a combined portfolio of ~$10b. I additionally managed the complete term deposit product portfolio ~$7b across all Macquarie Bank channels.Collaborating with our Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Risk & Compliance, and Legal teams as well as state regulatory bodies, I identified client centric initiatives and products a roadmap that enabled product growth and drove revenue.My portfolio required continuous monitoring in order to position them effectively in the market, prepare recommendations of product positioning, pricing and marketing proposal. Pricing was adjusted on a weekly basis with presentation and endorsement from the Head of Products for the bank. Additionally, I developed a deep core understanding of the regulatory frameworks covering deposits as I took over maintenance of regulatory changes for all Macquarie deposit products.

Reporting through to a Head of Products, for Leveraged Equities (a division of Bendigo & Adelaide Bank), as product manager I oversaw and managed Leveraged Equities suite of Investment lending products that was worth $7b pre-GFC and contributed to the Leveraged Equities strategic roadmap.During my time with Leveraged Equities, I partnered with Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Risk & legal, Client Services, Operations and Engineering to:* effectively promote products via 3rd party distribution channels, including tailoring product opportunities and features for new customers.* monitoring the portfolio and competitor positions to develop pricing strategies & recommendations. Including leading annual rate campaigns for existing (and new) customers.* maintained the product through a changing (GFC) regulatory environment.* research and deliver digital solutions to uplift the product offering to customers.* enhancing product craft, industry knowledge and mentoring of junior team members.

The HUBB Financial Group is a financial services company dedicated to servicing retail investors with innovative investment products and leading edge investor education programs. As Data Manager, I reported through to the Product Manager (Software) at HFG and was responsible for managing the trading information required for the range of software products developed in house. Working directly with the development team, I oversaw the maintenance & direction of internal propriety applications to monitor and process the financial data and lead several projects to automate the intake and refinement of financial market information for use in the analysis software.

The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is a private Member Sailing Club established in 1862. The Squadron grounds, facilities and services are provided for the enjoyment and utilization of Members and invited guests in their company.The role consisted of being a floor manager tasked with overseeing the food and beverage facilities within the casual dining areas of the club, managing a team of 12 staff and catering for up to 200 guests during peak periods.
