I am an undergraduate student at the University of Washington, Bothell, majoring in computer science and software engineering and minoring in mathematics. I am excited to break into the field and make a great impact. This led me to pursue a degree in the field, where I have now developed a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, C, Matlab, Java, and ARM Assembly. I have various projects under my belt, such as developing a PDF chatbot website utilizing NLPs, building a convolutional neural network from scratch to identify sign language images, and designing a student scheduler app to help freelance teachers organize and send text reminders to students, inspired by my mother, who is a piano teacher.In addition to my academic achievements, I have also undertaken several projects that have allowed me to apply my theoretical knowledge in practical settings. have worked with a 3-man team on a self-learning Pac-Man game project that utilizes A* searching algorithm while also further training the Pac-Man with Minimax, Alpha-Beta Pruning, and Expectimax algorithms. I've also worked on another team-based project on a genetic algorithm designed to solve sudokus, implementing many OOP-based design patterns to streamline and optimize the data pipeline. These include the factory, prototype, abstract, and strategy design pattern. I’ve also designed and built artificial neural networks from scratch, implementing various fundamental tools such as the perceptron learning rule, Hebbian learning, and backpropagation. I have also trained a convolutional neural network to detect pneumonia in patient X-rays.Furthermore, I am part of my university’s Machine Learning Contest Club, competing in Kaggle competitions while collaborating and delegating work with a team of six.I have over two years of work experience in Convoy, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, excelling in team rapport, and communicating responsibilities. I also have experience in social media marketing and operations, overseeing the production of blog posts and podcast publications on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. I implemented a C++ app to automate the formatting of podcast transcriptions, removing the need for manual intervention and rote work.
