About Rodney K. Pugh

Rodney holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University Montgomery.Rodney began his career with Rheem in 1999 as a research and development engineer where he led in the design of commercial electric and gas tank type water heaters. Rodney’s leadership in the design of Rheem’s Prestige series hybrid electric heat pump water heaters garnered awards for product, innovation, and design. Rodney’s passion for providing people with exceptional water heating solutions led him to take a new position with Rheem in 2017 as Commercial Sales Manager. In this sales position he connected directly with customers, listening to their needs, and used his knowledge and experience to provide the most optimal water heating solution in each application. His sales experience ultimately led to the role of managing one of four regional teams commissioned to grow market share across four Rheem divisions including Raypak, Eemax and IBC.Rodney’s broad experience in the organization provided an opportunity in 2022 to be part of Rheem’s Global Connected Enterprise helping build a unified customer experience for the commercial business. In 2024, Rodney took a position to lead Rheem’s largest water heating program to prepare Rheem for newly passed federal regulations.
