As a supply chain expert with a BSBA in Supply Chain Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, I have been applying my knowledge and skills to various roles and projects in the biotechnology industry and now spanning into the realm of aerospace and precision machining. Most recently, I have been leading the charge in my Supply Chain Manager position at IMS where I have had much success in implementing new inventory and logistics processes. Before IMS, I led a large team of workers and supervisors at Discovery Life Sciences, where I was responsible for delegating work, planning for high volume or odd circumstances, training newly acquired companies on logistics SOPs, creating new SOPs for newly combined processes, keeping a team on task with varied workloads and specialized tasks, scheduling meetings and team building exercises, and collaborating with multiple departments. I also identified and implemented opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in inventory management, ensuring compliance with FDA and CDC regulations and qualifications. In addition, I started and run a custom 3D printing and design business, where I deal with bulk orders for small businesses, work with a veteran-owned non-profit organization to supply 3D printed projects, design and produce products for businesses in the United States and the United Kingdom, and build lifelong partnerships and friendships with businesses all over the world.
