Nuclear Propulsion Plant Operator
I studied math, basic machinery, basic electricity, electronics fundamentals, digital microprocessors and electrical equipment and mechanical equipment under classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory instruction.I also was responsible for safe operation of nuclear power plant equipment and auxiliary systems to maintain readiness for combat operations. Installation and repair of machinery including steam generators, turbine generators, condensers, AC & DC motors, transistors, refrigeration plant piping, reduction gears, air conditioning, air compressors, evaporators, and pumps. I advanced to E4 pay-grade and watch-team supervisor of 30 troops.• Specialized Courses: Mathematics, physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, reactor principles, electrical and mechanical theory, and reactor plant operations.• National Defense Service Medal• Secret Security Clearance
