Hampton Affiliates owns approximately 90,000 acres of timberland in Oregon and Washington, which are managed pursuant to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) principles and are third party audited. These lands provide a base load of raw material to its Oregon and Washington mills, which is supplemented by government-owned timber, open-market purchases of timber and logs, and acquisitions of private timberland. Hampton also manages close to 300,000 acres of public timberland in British Columbia for its Babine and Decker Lake sawmills.I was selected to be the Supply Coordinator in 2010, and since then have been working on planning, operation and control of materials management of eight lumber mills. I have created business strategies that allow me to prepare accurate forecasting models for our Sales Group to develop revenue channels prior to production therefore reducing finished inventory to achieve sawmill optimization. In my role, I identify the right people needed to successfully support a project. I work closely with a variety of teams within the organization on improvement initiatives. The key to getting the full value of this initiative is opening up the lines of communication and have departments that have traditionally worked autonomously work together. By doing so, everyone is working towards a shared objective of increase revenue and cost reduction.

In 2002 the lumber and paper company was purchased by Weyerhaeuser.During my career at Willamette, I worked at various locations to ensure a safe work environment while maximizing production, value, quality, and grade and fiber recovery. Consistently working to enhance and improve operating performance. I organized and coordinated all safety programs and training.

With facilities in Oregon and northern California, Bohemia was involved in manufacturing laminated beams, lumber, plywood, particleboard, and numerous other wood products.In my role, I held various positions within the production department from Chain Puller, Flat Car Bander, Yard Utility, Boiler Operator, to Forklift Driver. I was recognized for my hard work and determination by receiving promotions and increased responsibilities.
