My management style focuses on team building, commitment, integrity, fairness, and accountability.Project responsibilities have included the following:- Obtaining governmental project approvals. - Selecting architects and other design consultants, negotiating design agreements, and managing the design process.- Selecting general contractors, negotiating the construction contract, administration of the general contractor’s work by checking quality and completeness, monitoring the schedule progress, approving change orders and payment applications, and managing the building startup, completion, and closeout processes.- Providing design input to the design team regarding the hotel program.- Managing the installation of owner-furnished equipment and material such as computer and telephone systems; designer furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E); operating supplies and equipment (OS&E); and exterior and interior signage.- Coordinating the hotel staff move-in and occupancy process prior to opening the property.- Monitoring design documents to ensure that brand standards are implemented and coordinating the construction schedule with the hotel management staff to ensure an efficient opening of the property.- Evaluating existing properties for acquisition or a hotel brand flag change.
