Getting into the cannabis industry as a Budtender, in 2022, had to be the best introduction to the industry. Loved being apart of peoples first time experiences and providing knowledge not only about products, compliance but the community and how far we have come. Fast forward Aug of 2023 I decided to jump on board in opening up a new dispensary, Snap Canna in Elk Grove Village, IL. Started off as a AIC but with my 10+ years of retail experience, with 5 years of management, leading teams of 15+ people, and knowledge of opening brand new stores, under my belt, I was offered the Inventory Manager positions and it’s been nothing but a blessing and an amazing learning experience. I’m excited to see what I learn and accomplish in the cannabis industry. As a consumer, my love for cannabis has always been there but now being in the industry the knowledge I have accumulated, has made my love for cannabis grow even more. Especially being able to change the stigma it is in my own Hispanic community. Being able to change the mind of the older generation and lead them to this natural modern medicine has been exciting. Not only am I a future cannabis connoisseur, I also would say I am a human rights activist at heart. Providing my own education on what’s going on in the world, helping the oppressed be heard, as well as helping people who been brainwashed by our own Gov. Open their eyes and lead them to be apart of this revolution we are admits of. Even if I don’t have numbers behind me (aka social media following, I’m no social media influencer) I believe that us humans can be that domino effect one person at a time. And it only takes one person to help make a impact and be that blueprint for future generations.
