Avista Champion position to provide technical expertise and successful application of Avista Chemicals and Services focused on maximizing the productive life of membranes and optimizing RO system operations.• Positive Customer Interaction: Working directly with system management and operators to better understand the condition of the RO system; Using Avista tools and services to promote chemicals with total customer satisfaction.• Optimization and Field Support: entering water analysis into the software (AdvisorCi) to determine correct antiscalant and dosage; conduct a system audit, on-site inspections of the system; process overview; documenting system design; system recommendations.• Chemical Application Recommendations: Using the results of an autopsy, cleaning study or field inspection of water analysis and membrane condition, recommend the proper chemicals for the system.• On-site Supervision: Provide commissioning support to ensure correct chemical dosing and that equipment is properly calibrated. Supervise the cleaning process to ensure that a proper procedure is used to maximize cleaning results; Validate the dosage calculations and verify that the injection rates and dilutions are accurate.• System Troubleshooting: Based on technical knowledge, inspect systems to identify problems that cause poor system performance; Usage of lab services to identify foulant and diagnose/confirm the issue; Membrane Autopsy to determine the problem and what is affecting membrane performance; Cartridge Filter Analysis to evaluate upstream pretreatment of the cartridge filter and identify potential membrane foulants. • System Follow Up: After the system has been optimized, then use the NormRO to run normalization of a system to ensure proper system performance remotely.• Projects carried out to make Avista Technologies services feasible: Single Element Tester and Clean; Particle Counter; and Filtration Column

Responsible for the interfaces of projects, and technical documentation in order to provide critical information to the commercial department.• Analyze the technical feasibility of the projects, in order to understand the URS and consequently comply with the standards; system and/or equipment dimensioning with plans, basic diagrams, and calculations to support the commercial proposal decision process; provided a collection of information from suppliers to the commercial and purchasing department informing deadlines and cost for preparing a proposal that meet the needs and the customers expectations; conducted a basic 3D simulation to accompany the commercial proposal.• Project management: controlling the entire life of the project through MS Project to develop the scope with detailed project structure; management of the civil, electrical, and hydraulic requirements for execution and their deadlines; performing a full 3D simulation, plans, flowcharts, and detailed diagrams contributing to correct assembly and installation of the systems; monitoring the performance of FAT at the factory; and following the startup and SAT, reporting the performance and qualification data.• Carry out document management: integration of all technical documentation, with system documents, technical standards, as-built plans, qualification reports, construction documents, system configuration report, certificates, user manuals, and maintenance and spare parts guide, avoiding the risk of non-validation of the system and/or equipment.• Conduct knowledge management: documentation of previous tacit knowledge of employees, perpetuating the company’s technical expertise in its field.
