Rodrigo is the first Colombian rower to compete at an Olympic Games (Beijing 2008). He has over 10 years of financial services experience ranging from personal, small business and commercial banking. Recently he pivoted his career to a role that provides funding support to a number of National Sporting Organizations at Sport Canada. This role fuses his banking and client liaison background with various national and international sporting endeavours.After a childhood in Colombia and a 14 year stint in the UK, Rodrigo became a truly diverse British Colombian Canadian living in Quebec. A citizen of the world who loves the outdoors and building connections that help promote an active, diverse and inclusive lifestyle. If he is not found at his home desk you may just catch him running or cross country skiing up mountains or moving backwards in rowing boat. His spouse and two young kids keep him grounded and curious about life.
