I conceived and led the creation of a centralized data platform that is modern, scalable, and cloud-agnostic, from the ground up to full implementation. During this process, I significantly expanded the engineering team, ensuring that every member was aligned with the project’s vision and cutting-edge technologies. As the mentor throughout all stages, I was responsible for the architecture design through to final delivery, ensuring excellence at every step.Our tech stack includes Spark, DuckDB, Kubernetes, and the Mage.ai orchestrator, leveraging low-code techniques to accelerate the development of robust data solutions. The architecture is based on data layers — raw, trusted, and refined — with Delta Lake ensuring governance and integrity. Development of an Orchestration (in-house) for the data processing of the data from Brazilian (90%) and abroad (10%) retailers.This was the first and primary Data Platform of Neogrid that used BigData on a classical Hadoop cluster.Stack:- Scala, Java, R, MS SQL, R, Spark, Azure Data Lake, HDFS, Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks, Delta Lake, and more.Pipeline to calculate about 190 metrics, and some dimensions data.The same process has been used for all retailers, but each retailer creates one instance of the process. I've worked to keep this solution running since the first day it has been on production.
