After starting at The Famous Group in early 2016 as a Production Assistant, I was promoted to Production Coordinator and then to Associate Producer in 2017. As an Associate Producer, my primary responsibilities consisted of creating and managing project schedules, coordinating client calls and presentations, updating clients on progress towards the project milestones, sourcing production crew and vendors for shoots, transferring digital assets and footage to the creative team and delivering the final files. I also provided technical support to other project managers and producers by solving and troubleshooting technical issues. This led to a promotion to Systems & Technology Manager where I was primarily responsible for providing technical support to the post production team of animators, creative directors, designers and editors. Other responsibilities included: management of computers, servers, external hard drives, licensing software and plugins, archiving footage and project files. One of the key parts of this role, during 2020 and early 2021, was adapting the post production pipeline for a remote workforce. I was constantly upgrading and improving the remote working experience for both freelance talent and staff.The Famous Group is a fan experience company that utilizes cutting edge technology such as augmented reality filters, mixed reality, motion graphics, projection mapping, real-time rendering and proprietary social media display software.
