Responsibilities• Assist and work with General Manager to manage, direct and coordinate the overall operations of the Auction.• Communicate and work with department managers to achieve Auction sales and financial goalsand objectives while maintaining an efficient operation.• Supervise and direct all Auction operations, including office, lot operations, transportation,security, maintenance, and procurement/posting.• Communicate and work with department managers to achieve optimum results through theefficient scheduling of all employees.• Foster open communication with Auction employees, and clearly communicate importance ofManheim’s and team’s vision, direction, and priorities. Seek and share information and use appropriate influence strategies to gain genuine commitment. • Partner with location management team to identify talent and create and implement targeteddevelopment plans.• Enforce all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.• Ensure that high standards of customer service are maintained in all departments at the location.• Review work volumes, plan, and continuously monitor staffing levels to ensure efficiency, quality work product, and effective customer service; review departmental performance against key performance indicators and metrics and develop and execute strategies for improvement.• Provide training and development opportunities for managers and employees of customer facing departments at the locations.• Develop and maintain familiarity with and on-going, continuous review and management of various KPI standards/targets, payroll expense, and FTE reports.• Achieve and maintain operational efficiency at the location.• Maintain ongoing awareness of market conditions and trends to ensure timely and effectivereaction to market changes.• Responsible for assisting with preparation of annual budget by reviewing sales results, expenses and other financial data, such as payroll
