Hittech Group is a high-tech system supplier for precision system products. My assignment was to develop design tools for nonlinear plate springs which can be used for the design of precision mechanisms. An intuivitive method was found to design load-displacement charateristics for nonlinear springs in parallogram mechanisms.

First contact and support for mechanical students in their first year. Also maintain contact between other TA's and teachers. As TA I guided two groups of 8 students. In addition my work included checking exams, and support students during workshops.

Caribu was a startup developing a semi-autonomous vehicle for the transportation of luggage trolleys at Schiphol Airport. The project started by interest from TU Delft and SDBV, a service company of Schiphol after a demonstration of a working proof of concept. As co-founder I managed daily business, maintained contact with the customer and negotiated financial plans and investments. I my role as system engineer I managed the technical operations in multiple disciplines and contributed to the mechanical design and system integration of the vehicle. In summary, the following aspects were part of my work:• Managing technical operations in multiple discplines (electrical, mechanical and software)• Conceptual design of working principles• 3D CAD mechanical design, ordering parts, managing finances• Assembling and testing of vehicle• Maintain contact with customer, suppliers and investors• Negotiating investments and financial plans
