Responsible for managing and directing the activities involved in the Quality Assurance Manual & overall procedures employed in production/manufacturing processes. The involved responsibilities & activities include working & interacting with Supplier Quality Team, External Suppliers, Customer Quality Engineers, Group Product Engineers & members of the Group CoC Team. The Quality Site Leader drives the plant awareness & activities necessary to accomplish the Company’s Quality Assurance Metrics & Goals (i.e. Customer Complaints, Process Defects, Scrap, among others).Responsibilities: • Manage daily operation quality issues & related activities. • Formulation and implementation standards to achieve quality objectives and resolution of product. • Drive ISO/TS16949 requirements in the plant. • Manage Customer Complaint and resolution system for the facility. • Control Zero Miles PPM's, FTF, Scrap, COPQ & Plant Continues Improvement initiatives. • Communicate and support PSA activities and procedures with team members. • Lead actions for top PS quality issues. • Lead Product Safety initiatives at the Plant.

• Manage, coordinate and implement the Engineering Changes (ECN / CR’s) following the APQP guidelines and also manage the MCR Process (Deviations) within the Acuña plants, from approval thru implementation, to ensure design specification control (Prints and Spec.) into production. • CR implementation champion, lead ECN/CR committees in Mexico Operations.• Act as Product Engineering liaison within the plants, and design records interpretation (Blue prints and specifications).• Ensure production prints revisions into production floor and its control.• Drive product changes from Plant requests (KPS, Corrective Actions, Corrections, Customer/Supplier request & MCR).• Actively participate during the MCR approval process and MCR management.• Support new production launches and line transference.• Assist Mexico operation as Team Center Key user (Acuña and Mexico City) and system corrections.• Communication with Customer, Supplier, COC Directors, Account/Application/Program Managers, PCPT, etc. for engineering changes implementation.• Assist Quality Engineers in the corrective action analysis of rejections (internal/external).• Support Mexico operation needs as an extension of Product Engineering.• Communicate and Support Product Safety activities and procedures with team members.

• Coordinate the Internal Audits to maintain the Quality Management System ISO/TS 16949.• Lead Auditor of the different processes of the Quality Management System ISO/TS 16949 to monitor and maintain it throughout the Plant.• Coordinate and ensure that the manufacturing process audits are carry-out to determine their effectiveness. • Coordinate the Management Review to inform the Quality Management System status. • Support the implementation of engineering changes (CR’s) thru the GCM.• Responsible of updating and analyzing the Customer Specific Requirements and ensure that they are fulfilled. • Responsible of coordinating the visits of external auditors for ISO/TS 16949, AAR and Product Safety audits.• Responsible of coordinating and approving the corrective actions to respond to the non-conformances founded in the external audits.• Responsible of coordinating the ECN’s (Engineering Change Notice) and require the documentation necessary to obtain the PPAP’s approvals from the Customer. (50 customers).• Responsible of coordinate any internal product change, Customer notifications and get the approval from the Customer.• Responsible of coordinate Customer PPAP for supplier transfers.• Responsible of coordinate the “Product Safety” audits and corrective actions.• Responsible of coordinate the AAR (Association of American Railroads) internal and external audits and maintain the certification.• Knowledge and experience in ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, QS 9000,ISO 14001,PSO, Customer Specific Requirements (Ford, GM, Chrysler Paccar, CAT, Volvo, International, etc.), SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plan, Drawings, GD&T, 7 Steps, 8D's, Six Sigma Methodology, Root Cause Analysis: e.g. 5 Why' s and Fishbone.

• Identify and develop the necessary processes to implement the Quality Management System (ISO/TS 16949). • Coordinate the Internal audits to maintain the Quality Management System ISO/TS 16949 and the Environment Management System ISO 14001.• Lead Auditor of the different processes of the Quality Management System ISO/TS 16949 to monitor and maintain it throughout the Plant. • Lead Auditor of the Environmental System ISO 14001:2004 to monitor and maintain it throughout the Plant.• Coordinate and ensure that the product audits are carry-out to ensure that it meets with the Customer Specific Requirements.• Coordinate and ensure that the manufacturing process audits are carry-out to determine their effectiveness. • Coordinate the monthly Management Review to inform the Quality Management System status. • Responsible of coordinating the visits of external auditors for ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14001.• Responsible of coordinating and approving the corrective actions to respond to the non-conformances founded in the product supplied by doing an analysis of the root cause. • Responsible of coordinating and sending the evaluation "Q1 site Assessment" to FORD. • Responsible of coordinating and sending the evaluation "MMOG Self-Assessment" to FORD. • Responsible of updating and analyzing the Customer Specific Requirements and ensure that they are fulfilled. • Responsible of coordinating the PCN’s (Product Change Notice) and require the documentation necessary to obtain the PPAP’s approvals from the Customer.• Responsible of coordinating AAR’s samples.• Responsible of approving Suppliers PPAP’s. • Experience as SQA & Supplier Development. (USA and South Africa).• knowledge and experience in ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, QS 9000, ISO 14001,PSO, SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Control Plan, 7 Steps, 8D's, Six Sigma Methodology, root cause analysis: e.g. 5 Why' s and Fishbone.
