I have over 35 years experience in Civil Engineering with a specific focus on Road and Highway infrastructure design and delivery.My current role with City of Albany is Civil Infrastructure Project Manager within the Infrastructure, Development and Environment Directorate.My responsibilities include project management, planning, design and construction of large Transport Infrastructure Capital Works projects, both internally and externally funded.I have achieved a very high competency in the application of MX and AutoCAD Civil3D design and drafting software and I have a developed a thorough understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite as well as the operation of Linux based servers.In the 23 years I have been in Western Australia I have delivered a variety of road rehabilitation and reconstruction projects for City of Albany, Main Roads Western Australia and other local authorities. The scope of these deliveries has included feasibility studies, economic assessment, concept and preliminary design and the final design and drawing production and construction supervision.I have also delivered design, drawings and contract and tender documentation for several large scale land development projects (200+ lots). These have included development of sewer and water reticulation design and stormwater analysis and management, as well as road and above ground assets such as footpaths, retaining walls and landscaped areas.In my spare time I enjoy being an amateur property developer and builder, restoration of classic cars and motorbikes, and organising and competing in local and national motorsport events.
