ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - 12 YEARS EXPERIENCE - GE Power2005 to current: Engineering Program Manager with roles of increasing responsibility for large scale gas-fired combined cycle power plant designs.- This role combined Program Manager responsibilities (budget, milestones, resource allocations, etc.) with Technical Manager responsibilities - Full program ownership.- Led the development of four power plant designs from program inception to commercial readiness on time and within budget with engineering support from a large multi-national design team.- Ensure gas turbine, steam turbine, Generator, and Balance of Plant are integrated into the plant for a well-optimized solution.- Programs completed with cost and performance values that exceeded expectations set forth at program initiation.- Effective management of multi-million dollar program budgets, program milestones, resource allocations and program reporting.- One plant design was admitted to the Guinness Book of World Records for most efficient power plant.- Received three consecutive Power Awards (2014, 2015, 2016) from GE's Vice President of Technology during the annual Engineer’s week celebrations.- Delivered numerous live presentations to GE senior leadership (Vice President level) to demonstrate the innovative features of our new plant designs. Presentations were then delivered to the GE Board of Directors, Wall Street analysts and various members of the media.

- Led a cross-functional engineering team to develop innovative methodologies for turbine compressor surge protection for large utility gas turbines.- Led a cross-functional team to develop a new gas fuel delivery system for use in industrial gas turbines.

West Palm Beach, Florida Area

- Developed innovative ground and air start methodologies to enable fast and reliable startups for the F119 engine in the F-22 Stealth Tactical Fighter aircraft.- Executed testing and analyzed results of compressor surge tests in both the ground and simulated flight test stands. Defined maximum compressor pressure ratio based on the results.- Developed controls strategies for compressor surge protection during startups and above-idle transients.- Nominated by leadership to be one of 5 engineers to join the F-22 flight test team.
