Responsible for both Christchurch and Ashburton branches. Added the Christchurch Access branch and opened a new Christchurch City branch. I had 8 direct reports across these business units. Rewarding role in a challenging environment.

Transport Wholesale (TWL) - Responsible for the sales and operational performance of 2 key branches in the Canterbury and West Coast regions. This involves overseeing up to 16 staff, consisting of Sales Reps, Branch Supervisors, Customer Service Reps, Administrators and Warehouse staff.

Porter Hire - Responsible for the continuing growth of Porter Hire, by servicing the existing customers and winning new business. Porter Hire was a key player in the demolition of the Red Zone on the back of the Christchurch Earthquakes.

Porter Parts, part of the Porter Group. Growing the market share in the competitive field of Heavy Machine parts. Introducing new products to the market place. Had large area to cover - most of the Sth Isd.

Invercargill

Responsible for running a profitable branch in Invercargill. This was a very rewarding role in which I developed my management skills.
