Enhancements to a mobile usage application to track tariff and contract base from the subscribers first connection date and subsequent months.

Design and development of QlikView applications that deliver business insight primarily for the finance and marketing functions. These applications typically contained multi-hundred million data rows from Netezza, MSSQL and Excel data sources; for example: - Mobile financial and usage analysis of domestic, international and roaming activity - Invoice reconciliation - Handset sales cohort analysis - Customer campaign effectivenessI designed and implemented a common multi-tier framework for incremental loads, configuration control and user navigation that will simplify the ongoing application maintenance. During this time I also migrated a couple of applications to QlikSense.

Led a software R&D group delivering programmes for cash management, identity and fiscal stamp systems. Each market had a varied product lifecycle requirement from bi-annual product releases to bespoke solutions. Managed the software pipeline through multiple development channels with an annual budget of more than £3M.

Managed the development and maintenance of enterprise cash management software products through direct and indirect development channels. Managed the design, approval and implementation of the software, working closely with the Sales, Product Management, Delivery and Support teams to identify the appropriate business priorities.

Managed the design and development with a third party a business intelligence product to monitor the effectiveness of an enterprise level cash operation. The product analysed the throughput and variances with inbound cash deposits, outbound orders and cash stocks.

Worked for the commercial team on the creation of service proposals and business cases for global product sales. Provided third-line support to direct and indirect distributors and agents.

Managed the installation, customer acceptance, training and post-sales support of cash processing equipment.

Managed a factory-based technical service team that provided support to end-user and distributor service operations. The team provided world-wide support services for banknote counting, sorting and dispensing equipment.

Supervised up to ten service engineers who provided international commissioning and maintenance services of banknote sorting systems.

Installed and maintained cash processing products around the world; this was an excellent training ground to develop self-sufficiency, international communications and customer service.

Senior role extended responsibilities to issue escalation into the product development team and creating test plans for a new banknote sorting product going into production.

Set-up and tested document handling equipment used to process lottery tickets at 100,000 documents per hour and validate the equipment performed to the contracted specification.

Tested and diagnosed faults to component level on digital circuits, power supplies and CRT scan circuits.
