My healthcare expertise encompasses diverse settings, from rural Critical Access Hospitals to prestigious academic medical centers and regional healthcare systems. I collaborate with high performance stakeholders, including healthcare coalitions, educational institutions, private enterprises, non-profits, and governmental bodies.Leading interdisciplinary teams, I excel in optimizing system resilience through threat and hazard identification and mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. I lead successful teams as we assess, discover, build, improve, and sustain processes and programs. I am a strategic thinker and a technical operator.My contributions to the field have earned me widespread recognition as an industry leader, educator, and researcher. In 2009, I achieved the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) designation from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Additionally, I have been a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) since 2009.
